Miss Parade of the Hills Contest

This pageant includes a full week of activities including seminars on self-awareness, interviewing skills, public speaking, and common etiquette.

The contestants will work inside the children’s Family Fun Park to assist in the art activities area, kid’s games, and children’s story time.

These ladies will visit the Hocking Valley area, visiting historical sites and buildings.

This pageant provides three college scholarship awards

$2500.00 to the Queen
$500.00 to the 1st runner-up
$250.00 to the 2nd Runner-up

The deadline to enter is August 9th, 2026. The contestant must be a current resident of Athens County or an Ohio County bordering Athens County (Washington, Morgan, Perry, Hocking, Vinton, or Meigs counties). The contestant must be female, at least 16 years of age, and no more than 20 as of July 1, the following year (2026). A copy of the contestant's birth certificate, 2 photos, and the $25 fee must be included with the application.

Payment must be made through our online store (click the tab in the upper right corner of this page) or via Venmo. You may send a check payable to the Parade of the Hills to the P.O. Box above, or bring cash or a check to the August 9th meeting.

Orientation Meeting will be held Sunday, August 9th, at 1:00 pm in The First Presbyterian Church, 69 East Washington Street, Nelsonville. Parents/Guardians must attend the meeting on August 3 with Contestants, if under 18.

Little Miss Parade of the Hills Contest

All Little Queen’s activities will take place on the same day, which means less stress for parents and contestants, and more fun for everyone.

To apply for the Little Miss Parade of the Hills pageant, please complete the application and email it to littlemisspoth0@gmail.com or apply online. There is a $30 entry fee for each contestant. 2026 Registration is open! Online registration will close on August 1st.
